Wiwek Mahabali aka Wiwek markiert sein Debüt auf Axtone mit einem Vollgas-Angriff auf die Sinne und liefert eine 3-Track-EP mit den charakteristischen Sounds und Rhythmen, die Wiwek zu einem der herausragenden Produzenten des letzten Jahrzehnts in seinem selbsternannten Genre gemacht haben. 2016 veröffentlichte OWSLA seine EP "The Free and Rebellious", die nicht nur eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen Wiwek & Skrillex ("Killa") beinhaltete, sondern auch als Soundtrack zu einem Kurzfilm namens "Still in the Cage" diente, den die beiden zusammen produziert.

Zuletzt veröffentlichte Wiwek seine 'Periphery'-Single bei W&W's Rave Culture und ist jetzt auf seinem vierten Band von Jungle Terror für BARONG Family, während er auch mit Marshmello an Angklung life zusammenarbeitete, das auf Joytime III zu sehen war.

„Ich mag es sehr, traditionelle Percussions in einem modernen musikalischen Rahmen zu implementieren. Mit den elektronischen Möglichkeiten, die wir jetzt haben, können Sie alles verschmelzen, was Sie wollen. Eine Sache, die mich immer fasziniert hat, ist die Energie traditioneller Percussion und wie diese Rhythmen und Klänge die Leute bewegen.
