Началом музыкальной карьеры Nic ZigZag стал дебютный сольный альбом «Depression», выпущенный небольшим тиражом на CD в 2006 году и оставшийся незамеченным музыкальным сообществом. В том же году Николай познакомился с музыкантом и диджеем Григорием Мартыновым, известным под псевдонимом Grinda, с которым было принято решение создать совместный проект Grinda & ZigZag

Первой совместной работой стал трек под названием "Boomerang", который заинтересовал питерского диджея Toper, который является владельцем лейбла «Gunsta», после чего он предложил выпустить данный трек в компиляции «From Russia With Love». Данная работа положила начало дальнейшему творчеству Grinda & ZigZag. В 2006 году, после первого релиза, было подписано ещё несколько треков на лейбл «Gunsta», но поистине значимой и по сей день узнаваемой работой проекта стал трек «Alien», который вышел в 2007 году в популярном сборнике «Пиратская станция», для которого отбирал треки один из основателей российской Drum & Bass сцены - Gvozd. Именно он рассмотрел талант ребят и в дальнейшем занимался активным продвижением проекта Grinda & ZigZag

Самым успешным релизом проекта Grinda & ZigZag стал альбом «Kaiser’s Stuff», вышедший на лейбле «Respect Records» в 2008 году, после чего проект получил большую популярность и обрел много фанатов по всей стране. В 2009 году вышел второй альбом на лейбле «Respect Records» под названием «Share Dreams», который стал последним совместным альбомом проекта Grinda & ZigZag. Проект просуществовал 4 года. За это время было выпущено большое количество треков, которые по сей день попадают в ротацию известных диджеев и звучат на вечеринках в разных уголках планеты

Следующим этапом в развитии Nic ZigZag стал проект «Flamewaverz», основанный в 2009 году совместно с M4Mind. Отличительной чертой проетка было более напористое и агрессивное звучание

После длительного перерыва Nic ZigZag вновь вернулся к активному написанию нового материала

Nikolai Egorov, better known under the pseudonym Nic ZigZag or ZigZag, is a Russian Drum & Bass musician and DJ, a former member of the Grinda & ZigZag project.

The beginning of Nic ZigZag's musical career was the debut solo album "Depression", released in a small edition on CD in 2006 and went unnoticed by the music community. In the same year, Nikolai met musician and DJ Grigory Martynov, known under the pseudonym Grinda, with whom it was decided to create a joint project Grinda & ZigZag

This work laid the foundation for the further work of Grinda & ZigZag. In 2006, after the first release, several more tracks were signed to the label "Gunsta", but the track "Alien", which was released in 2007 in the popular collection "Pirate Station", for which The tracks were selected by one of the founders of the Russian Drum & Bass scene - Gvozd. It was he who considered the talent of the guys and in the future was actively involved in the promotion of the Grinda & ZigZag project

The most successful release of the Grinda & ZigZag project was the album "Kaiser's Stuff", released on the label "Respect Records" in 2008, after which the project gained great popularity and gained many fans throughout the country. In 2009, the second album was released on the label "Respect Records" called "Share Dreams", which became the last joint album of the Grinda & ZigZag project. The project lasted 4 years. During this time, a large number of tracks were released, which to this day fall into the rotation of famous DJs and sound at parties in different parts of the world.

The next step in the development of Nic ZigZag was the "Flamewaverz" project, founded in 2009 together with M4Mind. A distinctive feature of the project was a more assertive and aggressive sound.

After a long break, Nic ZigZag returned to active writing new material
