Review: As well as heading up the ever-impressive White Peach imprint and brand, Zha also controls the output of his second label Naan, primarily designed for him to showcase his own heaters. He supplies us with a serious ammo crate on this one, kicking off with the twisted mystic flute motifs and warbling undertones of the title track 'Floating'. This is followed by 'Shower', a super choppy, vocal driven grimey slap, and the luscious soundscaping and metallic percussive influence of 'Father'. Finally, the project is rounded up with a dash of finesse as 'Jaan' combines heavily reverberated vocals with delicate percussive lines to create a soulful steppers march.
