Dub Sector is starting off 2020 strong with Rumble's debut vinyl release! Rumble has been instrumental in so many things we do label wise and we're as honored as we are excited to be able to present "Unorthodox EP", a five-track bass trip through space. This project has been a long time in the making and we would like to thank Killer Napkins for bringing it all together with some stellar full sleeve artwork! He has also been making quite the name for himself doing masters for this and many other labels in the underground bass music community. Be on the lookout for this young man making waves! Review Dub Sector have been gaining quite the reputation for system-ready dubstep music, a point emphasised heavily here as they unveil the 'Unorthodox' EP from Rumble. The title track works with gritty, metallic synth gargles to create one hell of a spooky atmosphere, before 'Water Martian' supplies us with a more aquatic-sounding sense of minimalism. Next up, the unpredictable bass grinds of 'Scanner' are followed by the pulsated sub-triplets of 'Provoked' and spacey compositional structures of 'Illusion'. What a listen!
