We are genuinely running out of words to describe just how much we are loving the FatKidOnFire journey, with good, original 140 music being their absolute forte. They invite the sounds of Substrada inside for a four track bonanza, kicking off with the spacious percussive bangs and subtle yet gnarly synthesizer slaps of 'Doom'. Next up, the London City Warlord himself: Riko Dan arrives to provide the perfect vocal addition to 'Calibre', before the chilling string influxes and organic drum work of 'Omen' alongside Caba deliver a secondary sub-punch. Caba stays on for the final track as 'Aku's Grasp' gives us a super syncopated metallic outro, rounding this one off in style.
