2020 has been a pretty spectacular year for dubstep when it comes to consistency, with labels such as Indigo Movement providing us with non stop heaters all year round. This latest release sees Display unleash four potent scorchers, kicking off with the gnarly, grinding bass expressions and bright hi hat lines of 'Intuition', alongside the floating melodic structures and subtle sub designs of 'Temptation'. Following this, the title track 'Fractal' is unleashed in all its glory, driven by demonic bass pulses and sliced melodic influxes to add a real sense of eeriness throughout. Finally, the wonky percussive placement and unusual atmospheric textures of 'Plot Shield' adds that final dash of sauce to an excellent body of work.
