Nookie (Gavin Cheung) - диджей и продюсер, который не нуждается в особом представлении. Несомненно, входит в элиту мировых драм-н-бэйс-звезд. Наряду с LTJ Bukem’ом Nookie является одним из «отцов» интеллиджент и атмосферик драм-н-бэйс-музыки. Его работы, будь то студийное творчество или выступление в качестве диджея всегда наполнены энергетикой джаза и соула. Наибольшую известность Гэвин получил благодаря релизам на легендарном Good Looking Records и, особенно, вышедшему в 2001 году альбому “In@TheDeepEnd”. Innerspace, Natural Experience – хиты атмосферного звучания на все времена, вошли именно на этот альбом, который, кстати, стал для Nookie уже четвертым. Первый альбом датирован далеким 95-м. Это была пластинка с говорящим названием «The Sound of Music» на Reinforced Records, которая в последствии переиздавалась для Европы не менее известными Crammed Disc/Selector. В его биографии присутствует сотрудничество с одним из старейших брейкбитовых лейблов Moving Shadow Records, где он скрывался под “ником” Cloud 9, и выпустил целый ряд виниловых пластинок. Затем последовала совместная работа с Лари Хёрд (Larry Heard), вылившиеся в два полноценных альбома для мейджора Sony Records.
