Within the dubstep scene, it's quite hard to not view Von D as anything other than a legend, boasting an incredible back catalogue of classics. He here lands on the fantastic Artikal Music imprint for three tracks of pulsating power, kicking off with the distorted kick shells and metallic percussive presses of the title track 'Obstacles'. Following this, we dive into the incredibly gnarly drum switch ups and sizzling sub textures of 'Goat', before finishing up our voyage on 'Whatevs', a twisted combination of distorted 808 slaps and writhing reesey tones. Awesome work!
