This year, the electronic music community was suddenly invaded when a mysterious alien reptile emerged within the bass scene. On February 11, AstroLizard made their project debut on WAKAAN with their high-powered remix of Liquid Stranger's hit record "Psychonaut." Less than one month later, the fresh recruit landed back on the bass imprint with “Space Cowboy,” shortly followed by “Big Wub Energy” and succeeded with “The Mutation” one month later.
The mysterious producer then made their surprise return on June 25 with “Need You,” the final precedent single before their debut LP, Bizarre Universe. Now, the time for this mutated lizard’s full 10-track record to drop is nearly here. Featuring a collaboration with familial WAKAAN members Leah Culver and PIERCE, 2021 is literally and figuratively only the beginning for AstroLizard’s invasion.
