A snow-white bird flew over the world void. It was a dove, slightly larger than normal. A small note was tied to one of its legs. A cliff appeared in the distance like the prow of a long-sunken ship. A human silhouette was visible at the top of the cliff. He held out his hand, beckoning a dove flying towards him. The bird landed neatly on the hand of its owner, he opened the note and said in a strangled, almost whispering voice:

- Thank you, Amalgam. It says here that it's time for you and me to leave. The era is coming to an end. So it's time for us to rest.
The man sat the dove on his shoulder and cast his gaze into the void. A spark flashed in his eyes, he smiled slightly and snapped his fingers. The all-encompassing void flared up at once. Everything around was covered with fire. The man opened the door that arose behind him, turned around and brushed away a tear that had come. Taking a step forward, he disappeared, only the emptiness remained to smolder quietly, waiting for a new cycle.
