Review: Following on from another string of exciting releases, we are thrilled to see the return of In:Flux Audio, and the fifth edition of their extremely popular compilation series 'Get Fluxed'. The line up for the selection is potent to say the least, seeing high profile returns for the likes of J69, Nekst, Fiyahman, Swedger and more, along with the introduction of some eyebrow raising newcomers! For us the highlights on this one simply have to include the dancefloor destroying old school UKG flavours of 'The Massive Crew' from Sekt-87, along with Teotek's neurotic thrillride in 'Tunnel Driver'.

Review: ONEPUF are back at it again, bringing us yet another super tasty breaks inspired original as they employ the talents of Private caller for two super crunchy original creations. We kick off with a look at 'Let Me Know' which combines an organ driven, reverby introduction with lethal 808 drones and shimmering vocal scatters on its breakdown. On the flip side, the tempo is dramatically decreased to allow the hardcore influences of 'Want Me' to shine through in serious style, with scatty chord stutters and subtle breakbeat lines shimmering away, bringing a touch of nostalgia to this wicked two track selection.

Review: It's been a short while since we last saw Notion touch down with a full body of work, but my oh my was it worth the wait as he touches down on My Nu Leng & FineArt's 'Maraki' for a top class display. The EP kicks off with the stunning vocal work and rawcus synthesizer run outs of 'Dreams', which leads perfectly into the title track 'Shook'. For this one, Freddie Martin joins the party on guest vocal duty, adding something special to another top quality composition from Notion. Next up, we jump into a groovy little roller by the name of 'Pirate', which uses subtle bass drones to drive itself forward, before we finish up on the alien bass tones of 'Connect'.

Review: The ever dependable Southpoint team have seemingly done it again here, as the dangerous duo of Negativ debut on the Brighton based platform for a scorching three track party. We kick off with a look at the title track 'Entropy', a grizzly rolling fireball, showcasing exactly what Negativ's sound is all about. Next up, we make way for 'Structure', which again rains down a barrage of breaksy fire and sizzling bass sounds, before we finish up the EP with a deeper composition in 'Aurora'. Don't be fooled however, as this blazing finale packs one hell of a punch!

Label Project Allout
Cat PAR129
Review: As ever with Project Allout, it's a high quality return as they here enlist Kyle George for a bubbling three track selection, which kicks off with the title track '51 Distrikts'. This track is a very good showcase of how to put together a bassline banger, dripping in colourful bass designs and sharp, well processed drum rhythms. The blips are out in full force for the following track as 'All I Want' switches between lethal LFO's and rising beeps to create a really cool back and forth. Finally, 'The Individual' ups the tempo for the last hurdle, packing a serious punch between it's trap-like half time breakdowns and scatty tearout drops.

Review: It's been one hell of a year for CruCast, with a bag of mega events ticked off, the majority of their front running artists hitting major success and a tonne of exciting new school talent rising through the ranks. This new project from Dommix shows just how strong their arsenal is, with the twisted metal-like bass sounds of 'Ready' getting us off to a flying start. The skippy drum work and continued synthesizer madness of 'Like It' then follows before title track 'Monster' uses yet more naughty sound design to cause a serious ruckus. Finally, the EP closes out with the potent leads of 'Hot One', putting the finishing touches on a super consistent body of work.

Review: The 80s electro force is strong in this one! Parisian producer serves up a retro-tastic cut featuring New York hip-hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa, whose "you are on my radar/I control your mind" vocal is alternately fed through a vocoder and served dry. The Original, Bonus Beats and Adesse mixes are pure nostalgia, Dimitri From Paris looks to Italo-disco and early Chicago house for inspiration on his remix, the Borussia Remix has a slightly more contemporary, footwork-y feel and Deen Abdelwahed's remix takes the track into more jagged indie-dance territory, like Nag Nag Nag had never closed.
