Review: Infernal Sounds have been on a killer roll of late, with every release landing with some serious impact. This latest assembly of delicious bassweight from Nova is another addition to that catalogue as we kick off this selection with the shivering LFO grinds and punchy drum slaps of the title track 'Bonafide', giving us a powerful opener. From here, 'Single Fuse' combines gnarly, haunted melodic designs with swampy drum additions to give us something bulging with low end power, before 'Fivers' takes us down a much more minimal road, again focussing however on those eerie atmospheric pads. For the finale, Foamplate gets involved for a bubbly creation by the name of 'Intricacy' which utilizes a fantastic sub-line atop lively percussive additions to see out the tracklisting in style.

Review: The 25 years of Metalheadz march continues and this time it's the job of Mark System, one of the label's most reliable stalwarts and an all-round incredible producer. For this single he's gone full old school jungle, and the results are acid-inflected masterclasses in how to construct stripped back drum & bass beats. 'On Top' is the highlight of the single, and the bounciness in the drums moves with clear precision through rolling waves of progression, a true journey through clubland sound that really lives up to the 25 year legacy of this label.

Review: L-Side's debut album came out some time ago now, and this is the long awaited remix EP, featuring some of the best artists in the game giving L-Side's tunes the once over. Break steps up and nails it as per usual, taking those perfect vocals and stretching them over a punishing bassline; thank god we're back in clubs soon, because this is going to kill it. Dogger & Mindstate work their lounging piano magic to great effect, and Spirit takes the essence of drum and bass and rolls it out with a monstrously stabbing bassline. Alibi close things on a head-nodding, subby note that will have you moving for sure. Sick.
