Review: The man of the jungle moment, Coco Bryce. One of the best producers at the forefront of jungle's ascendent wave, Coco Bryce has been on an absolute tear for some time now, and his production prowess is matched by a voracious output. On PRSPCT this time around, Coco blends frenetic junglist strikes with a keen ear for samples, hooks, and moments of dancefloor serendipity. It's track four, 'Bait Hoven', that really draws you in, courtesy of a energetic hook that's tastefully marinaded in rave nostalgia, before grilled thoroughly under percussive heat and scorching 303 punches. For sheer drum magic, 'Sound Dimensions' is a masterpiece of jumped up kick slaps and tough snare snaps, a truly rhythmic number that is jungle at its best. Another EP for the breaks heads out there.
