The deeper side of Blastikz was unknown to the staff at DNBB Recordings until we invited him to send over one track for a compilation. When we took a listen we were amazed by gentle pianos and rolling basslines. Wanting to know if Blastikz could come up with the goods again – we asked him to send over some other tracks. What we received is this EP entitled: "Let It Rain". The title track of the same name as the EP is deep and relaxing with kicks and shakers moving through the mix in the style of Calibre. The vocals are tuned with the pianos and the sub is complex and full. "High Strung" is a liquid roller with faster beats and variations. The track features Rhodes and gently placed vocals to add an extra layer of interest. "Lonely Vibe" is one of Blastikz´ most sublime tracks. It has a catchy arrangement of both piano and organ, with FX vocals fitting into the structure of the music. This tune will flow straight into your ears. The final track on the EP is called "Time". Treble pianos are arranged with calm and gentle beats taking you on a journey to enjoy the best that life can offer. Let It Rain is packed with deep, rolling, liquid vibes.
