Jungle Pride is a collective based in Turin - Northern Italy that has been pushing the boundaries of drum&bass sound for the past 10 years, promoting events and bringing in its city some of the scene's most representative producers. Along with this experience, they decided to start Jungle Pride Recordings. Its mission: to spread out an open-minded fresh sound and travel through the dnb spectrum. The label is run by individuals with diverse backgrounds in the record industry and music promotion such as independent digital record label management (abformal recordings), bass music events management (Aria, Juvarra's), radio show production for several Italian radio stations (RBE, LDC, Radio Onda d'Urto), international digital label external advising (DDE). Following two free downloads they are now ready for the first official release: Summer Session / King of crisp, both produced by Jazzatron. The well-known duo has worked with several labels such as Celsius, Fokuz, Code Recordings, Delta9, The Dreamers, Lifestyle and they appeared at international music festivals such as Outlook, Sun and bass, IDM. Their music is also supported by international djs like Fabio and Grooverider, FRE4KNC, RenèLaVice, London Electricity and was aired on BBC1xtra, Ministry of Sound Radio, Noisia Radio, Bass Drive and more. Summer session is a heavy half time track with a far-out hypnotic synth and a deep fat bass line; hands down a real "Red alert tune". King of crisp is the second track and it is another half biz: an arpeggio bass pattern goes around with old school HC stabs combined with a binary rhythm; this tune is guaranteed to take no prisoners. In the first set of releases, JPR explores the genres that are most representative of its crew ranging from liquid to experimental rollers while making sure that it offers something that is musically and esthetically as original as possible
