It's been four months since we've had some new Lucent jams and we've been all the worse off for it. Now we're happy to report that this Liverpudlian bass master is back with a lethal one-off called "Kill It", and he hasn't let us down either. Clocking in at just under five minutes, the track is a stark and sharp slice of ghetto-step, complete with angsty synths, phonetically altered mantra-like vocals and big snare rolls. Totally lit, basically. Dr Nick also steps up to twist the knife, turning in a harsher version with mechanical drum patterns and more lairy bass.
